About the Author
Theodore E. Hughes (1942- ), Michigan Assistant Attorney General (Ret), was born in N. Conway, New Hampshire, grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and graduated from Eastern Michigan University and the Detroit College of Law. Ted is a Michigan attorney skilled in wills, trusts, and estate planning...subjects he has taught at Thomas M. Cooley Law School and continues teaching at Michigan State University. He has authored two sets of lawbooks for the legal profession and is the senior author of seven nationally published books on estate planning, estate settlement, and related subjects. His latest books include "The Handbook to Wills, Funerals and Probate" (3rd ed) and "The Executor's Handbook" (4th ed).
