Re-ligio introduces students to the five major religions of the world, i.e. Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Each chapter covers the historical, ethical, philosophical and ritual foundations of each religion. What distinguishes Re-ligio from other introductory textbooks are the comparative boxes: each chapter contains 10 to 15 boxes that present textual quotes from the sacred books of each religion on one topic, allowing the student to see their similarities and/or differences.
