Long ago in old Peking, a rich, bored young boy called Sing Lo asks his rickshaw man to show him the Imperial Elephant, who, people say, hasn't slept a wink since the old emperor died. When the animal gives Sing Lo a riddle, it takes all his ingenuity to solve it.
