THE PUPPIES FIND A HOME You walk about a house and hear the sound of whimpering puppies. You look around and see a mother dog and nine little puppies. It is obvious they are not being taken care of very well. So what do you do? Author Helene DuGahl's The Puppies Find a Home is the story of Millie, a girl who finds the mother and puppies while walking her own dogs. Though Millie wants to save them, their owner refuses to let her have them. Disappointed, Millie can't get them out of her mind. She's not sure what to do or how to do it. The only thing Millie is sure of is that she has to save them. The Puppies Find a Home is based on a real-life event in the author's life. You'll discover what's possible when you're willing to give it your all-and when you have lots of friends willing to help.
