HERBIE JONES SAILS INTO SECOND GRADE Just entering second grade, Herbie Jones is just as likeable and mischievous as he is in the middle-grade series that kids have been enjoying for over twenty years.   Herbie Jones gets two surprises on his first day of second grade. One is meeting a new friend, Raymond Martin, on the way to school.The second is learning that the new teacher they have is Mr. Schnellenberger, not Mrs. (and Ray wants to call him Mr. Burger). Mr. S has lots of fun plans for his class to sail through second grade. And even though Ray is nervous about reading and Herbie about spelling, they are pretty sure this will be a fun trip because they can go on it together.
