SOMEBODY'S DARLING Jill Peel is the first woman to make Hollywood's bigtime as a director. She has other interests as well--Joe Percy, a veteran screenwriter whose mainstay is his love for Jill, and Owens Oarson, an opportunist who studs her to advance his own career. All three travel in a world of easy sex and available drugs, of astronomical salaries and artistic compromise--until one tragic day, on location, the fairytale comes to an end. Besides the recent Pulitzer Prize-winning LONESOME DOVE, B-O-T has also recorded Larry McMurtry's THE DESERT ROSE, TERMS OF ENDEARMENT, HUD and THE LAST PICTURE SHOW.
